The Factory Basketball Academy believes that a strong, positive first impression is the key to unlocking hidden passion and growth. Our beginner programs are basketball 101, Factory style, designed to introduce children to the game in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.
For ages 4 to 5, the focus is on fundamental movement skills, balance, coordination, ball familiarity, dribbling, passing, and shooting through short, age-appropriate activities and games.
Guided by the principles of Canada Basketball’s Athlete Development and Long-Term Athlete Development models, these programs create the foundation for long-term athletic growth while helping every child build confidence, stay active, and enjoy the game. This is the introductory track in The Factory Basketball Academy’s Development Pathway and the perfect place for new players to begin.
