Welcome to The Factory Basketball Academy. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, your registration for our programmes, camps, clinics and events, and your participation in activities organised by The Factory Basketball Academy.
By accessing our website, registering for a programme, or participating in any Academy activity, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or register for our programmes.
1. About The Factory Basketball Academy
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "The Academy", "we", "our", and "us" refer to The Factory Basketball Academy.
These Terms apply to all participants, parents, guardians, spectators, coaches, volunteers, visitors and users of our website.
2. Eligibility & Registration
Participants under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
By completing a registration, you confirm that:
- The information provided is accurate and complete.
- You have the legal authority to complete the registration.
- You agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- You agree to the Registration Terms & Waiver and Privacy Policy.
The Factory Basketball Academy reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration where necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing or best interests of participants, staff, volunteers or the Academy.
3. Programme Fees & Payments
Programme fees must be paid using the payment methods offered during registration unless alternative arrangements have been approved by The Factory Basketball Academy.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of registration.
Programme fees include participation only unless otherwise stated.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are not guaranteed.
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of The Factory Basketball Academy.

Where approved, refunds may be subject to administrative deductions where appropriate.
5. Cancellations & Unforeseen Circumstances
Occasionally programmes may need to be cancelled, postponed or modified due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Facility closures
- Coach illness
- Public health restrictions
- Power outages
- Emergencies
- Other unforeseen circumstances
Where practical, notices will be provided through our website, social media channels and/or email.
The Factory Basketball Academy will make every reasonable effort to reschedule affected sessions; however, rescheduling cannot be guaranteed.
6. Missed Sessions
Programme fees cover participation in the programme as scheduled and not individual attendance.
No make-up sessions, refunds or credits will be provided for sessions missed because of:
- Illness
- Holidays
- Scheduling conflicts
- Transportation issues
- Other personal circumstances

Any accommodation shall be considered at the sole discretion of The Factory Basketball Academy.
7. Programme Changes
The Factory Basketball Academy reserves the right to modify, postpone, combine, relocate or cancel any programme, camp, clinic, session, coach assignment, facility, schedule or age grouping where reasonably necessary.
Every reasonable effort will be made to notify participants of significant changes through our website, social media channels and/or email where practical.
Such changes do not automatically entitle participants to refunds or compensation.
8. Minimum Registration Requirements
Programmes require sufficient registration numbers to operate effectively.
Where minimum numbers are not achieved, The Factory Basketball Academy reserves the right to:
- Cancel a programme
- Combine programmes
- Relocate participants
- Offer an alternative programme
- Provide a credit
- Issue a refund
as determined by the Academy.
Every reasonable effort will be made to communicate available options promptly.
9. Participant Conduct
All participants, parents, guardians, spectators, coaches and volunteers are expected to comply with The Factory Basketball Academy Code of Conduct.
Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including:
- Verbal or written warnings
- Removal from a session
- Suspension
- Cancellation of registration
- Permanent exclusion from Academy activities
Serious or repeated breaches may result in removal without refund.
10. Parent, Guardian & Spectator Responsibilities
Parents, guardians and spectators play an important role in creating a positive sporting environment.
All individuals attending Academy activities are expected to:
- Treat everyone with courtesy and respect.
- Encourage all participants positively.
- Demonstrate good sportsmanship.
- Respect coaches and officials.
- Avoid abusive, threatening or discriminatory language or behaviour.
- Refrain from interfering with coaching or programme delivery.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
The Factory Basketball Academy reserves the right to ask any individual whose behaviour is inappropriate to leave an event or facility.
11. Health & Safety
Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies or injuries that may affect participation.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for determining whether a participant is medically fit to participate.
The Academy reserves the right to refuse participation where safety concerns exist.
12. Photography & Video
Photography and video recording may occur during Academy programmes and events.
The collection and use of images is governed by the Registration Terms & Waiver, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
13. Merchandise & Online Store
Merchandise purchased through The Factory Basketball Academy's online store is subject to the policies of the applicable third-party store provider.
The Factory Basketball Academy is not responsible for:
- Product manufacture
- Fulfilment
- Shipping
- Exchanges
- Returns
- Warranties
provided by third-party suppliers.
Customers should refer to the policies published by the store provider.
14. Website Use
Users agree to use this website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
- Interfere with website security.
- Attempt unauthorised access.
- Introduce malicious software.
- Misuse website functionality.
- Use automated tools to harvest information without permission.
The Academy may suspend access where misuse is suspected.
