Welcome to the Factory Basketball Academy’s camps page. The “Ball of Fame” basketball camp is our summer time program which runs in the summer months of July and August. These week long day camps takes your child through skills /drills, learning new techniques they can add for next season and a lot of games! The Factory Basketball Academy guarantees the kids will have loads of fun and early bed times! Ball of Fame Basketball camp registration is now open. Spots are limited to ensure the players get the most attention.
Summer Program Info
Basketball Camp – Ages 8-10
Start Date: July 8, 2024
End Date: July 12, 2024
Location: Cedarview Church, Paris
Session Length: 1 Week
Start time: 8:30am
End Time: 3:30pm
Note: Before and after care hours are 7:30am and 4:30pm.
Basketball Camp – Ages 11-13
Start Date: August 19, 2024
End Date: August 23, 2024
Location: Cedarview Church, Paris
Session Length: 1 Week
Start time: 8:30am
End Time: 3:30pm
Note: Before and after care hours are 7:30am and 4:30pm.
Summer House League – Ages 11-13
Game Days: Tuesday’s & Thursday’s
Game Time: 6:00pm or 7:00pm
Location: Cedarview Church, Paris
Start Date: July 8, 2024
Session Length: 4 Weeks
Camp Curriculum
8:30am – 9:00am: Stretching, Athletic Development,
9:00am – 10:15am: Skills Development: Dribbling, Shooting, Passing, Defense.
10:15am – 10:30am: Nutrition Break
10:30am – 12:00pm: Team Concepts:
- Full court team drills(fast break, offensive and defensive positioning)
- Team defensive concepts ( shadowing player movements, defending position, defending the ball, rebounding )
- 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3
- Offensive concepts
- Spacing, getting open cutting, screens.
12:00pm – 12:30pm: Lunch
12:30pm – 1:30pm: 1 on 1 moves and games.
1:30pm – 1:45pm: Nutrtion Break
1:45pm – 3:15pm: Games (scrimmage or skills competition. Eg shooting etc)
3:15pm – 3:30pm: Cool down and getting ready for pick up.
All Factory programs require the players to bring their own basketballs!
